How do you know if you’re getting a safe manicure?
For some reason, when it comes to manicures, many people think first and foremost about the design and color. But that’s not the most important thing. There’s no arguing that you should choose trendy shades and be on-trend, but it’s also important to take care of your nails’ health!
Sawing technique
The safest type of manicure is the so-called “European”, or sawing. Its main feature – all the tools used are disposable (in front of you, the master opens the bag with new “devices”). It is performed without water, and all nail treatment is quick and painless: the cuticle is not cut, it is gently pushed aside and filed, the lateral ridges are also “trimmed” and softened with a file, and after always moisturize the skin with oil.
By the way, the result lasts from two to three weeks.
Quality coverage
Coatings also affect the condition of the nails. So choose safe nail polishes and gel lacquers without formaldehyde, camphor, dibutyl phthalates and other harmful components that damage the nail plate. For example, products from the Italian brand Fedua (they are, incidentally, often called phytoproducts). In addition to a wide palette of shades for every taste in the lineup are other means for safe manicure – a nourishing base with extracts of algae and minerals, top-fixer and caring hand creams.
